Open to research positions as a Postdoc, Research Fellow, Research Faculty, or Research Consultant.
I am a listener, a curious and humble learner, and a people connector. Through my research on collective learning and knowledge co-production, I aim to act as a knowledge broker in climate change adaptation/sustainability transition. Tackling wicked problems such as sustainability challenges and climate change requires cross-sector and cross-disciplinary learning. However, the learning and knowledge co-production processes are often not investigated or documented. Diving into the learning processes helps produce knowledge on factors, conditions, and mechanisms that drive effective collaboration. Such knowledge is critical for facilitating meaningful collaboration.
Research interests: community-based, collaborative research with local people and climate adaptation intervention practitioners. By gaining insights into learning processes in cross-sector and cross-disciplinary sustainability transitions or climate change adaptation, my goal is to contribute research-based insights for the design, implementation, and evaluation of adaptation interventions.
I am an experienced educator and trained learning scientist. I bring expertise in designing and delivering training, alongside strong research capacities, to advance educational and learning perspectives within multidisciplinary climate adaptation research. I engage in collaborative and participatory research with local communities and practitioners to develop a nuanced understanding of learning processes in climate change adaptation. This understanding not only complements monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) in assessing the impact of interventions but also informs the design and implementation of more effective adaptation strategies.
